Creating Assessment Plans

UC Santa Barbara operates under a three year cycle for assessing program learning outcomes.  Every three years departments report on the recent PLO assessment, and create a plan for the next PLO assessment.  

Systematic collection of PLO Assesment Plans began in 2015.  During those years departments were asked to create PLO Assessment Plans using this template

Two years into a three year PLO Assessment Plan, a progress report is due.  This is a required online survey.  An example can be seen here.

At the conclusion of the three year cycle, departments must report on their assessment findings and plan for the next three year PLO assessment.  This is done via online survey. The survey can be accessed at this link.  A word version of this survey is also acceptable.  The word document is to be emailed to Amanda Brey and can be downloaded here.
